Gary M. Gilbert

Gary Gilbert has presented more than a thousand seminars, trainings, speeches and other presentations on various aspects of employment discrimination law and workplace rights and responsibility, including preventing harassment, understanding the employer’s obligation to provide reasonable accommodation to persons with a disability, creating and maintaining the workplace free from discrimination, and many other topics. He has authored numerous texts on federal sector discrimination law, including treatises on compensatory damages, disability discrimination law, and an annual EEO Update which summarizes recently published decisions of the EEOC. Mr. Gilbert has presented numerous webinars, including one recent session titled, “Preventing and Correcting Sexual Harassment in the Federal Workplace.” He also presented a two-day EEO training to employees of the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia on “Preventing Hostile Work Environment Harassment.” He started The Law Offices of Gary M. Gilbert & Associates, P.C. in 2005, after serving for 16 years with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as an administrative judge, 15 of which he served as the Chief Administrative Judge of the Baltimore Field Office.
