Fundamentals of Whistleblowing Claims with Kevin Owen

Attendees will learn everything they need to know about federal sector whistleblowing claims, from initial contact with the Office of Special Counsel, to IRA filings before the MSPB, and practice before the Federal Circuit. The course will cover the varying burdens of proof to establish non-frivolous allegations and successfully prove or defend against claims of whistleblowing retaliation. The course will cover litigation before the MSPB on whistleblower claims and how to effectively advocate for your party’s side in written submissions and before an MSPB Administrative Judge. We’ll also discuss remedies available to successful whistleblowers.

• Rescheduling requests after this deadline are subject to a $50 administrative fee. Substitutes with another student attending are limited to one sub filling in the original registrants’ registration dates.
