Course Summary

An authoritative and in-depth examination on the subject of damages available before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Merit Systems Protection Board and federal courts as they relate to discrimination cases presented by the people who literally wrote the book! Attendees will learn the burdens of proof that must be met to support an award of compensatory damages and other remedies, the types of evidence necessary to prove nonpecuniary damages and how agencies can challenge that evidence, and understand the impact of recent EEOC decisions on awards of nonpecuniary damages.
